Ladies of Charity scholarships

Two $500 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to pursue a service oriented career which specifically makes a difference in someone's life.

The scholarship is based on academic achievement, financial need, and service to school and church community.

Please see your guidance counselor for an application.

Deadline is April 17, 2020.

Laimons & Sylvia Drupa Scholarship

The Binghamton Garden Club is offering this scholarship in the amount of $10,000 to a graduating senior in a Broome County school. This senior must major in a university undergraduate program in horticulture, environmental studies, botany, landscape architecture, biology (not pre-med) or other directly related fields. This award has the potential of multiple years if all requirements are met. Students should contact their guidance counselor.

Deadline May 1, 2020. 


TOTUS TUUS SUMMER CAMP will be held at St. Joseph’s Church again this year from July 19-24th. Registration NOT OPEN YET, dates posted for your planning purposes. Fees will be as follows: $35 per child; $70 per family for the day program. $10 per youth for the evening program. All fees are for the week! HOST FAMILIES are needed for our missionaries from July 18-25th. Host families provide sleeping arrangements, a morning continental breakfast and possibly snacks to refuel. The team needs 2 “host homes”, one for the men and one for the women. If interested, please call Sally for further details at the parish office @748-0442. 

Children's Liturgy

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) has resumed during Mass on most of the Sundays when there is Faith Formation class. This if for children 4-8 years old. During the Liturgy of the Word, Fr Ken will call up the children and excuse them for a lesson of their own (approx 20 mins.).

The CLOW leaders will take the children to the Conference Room off the Sacristy. Children return during the envelope collection.

Registration is not required but very helpful.
